INFO
Instrumental Assistance provides kids the chance to learn music, regardless of their economic situation, by supporting local school districts with creative options and instruments to build a music presence within the schools.

As school arts budgets continue to dwindle, a greater force must be mobilized to push back and regain lost funding. By partnering with musicians, music equipment manufactures & retailers, record labels, promoters, music fans and other interested parties, Instrumental Assistance will breathe new life into school music programs and support the students who are inspired.

The goal of Instrumental Assistance is to empower students and generate the level of widespread interest and support for music programs normally only found in team sports. Musician posting boards, after school practice rooms, equipment loaning programs and demonstrations will fill the schools and help garner the necessary support and attention to thrive in these budget restricted times.

The Coachella Valley Art and Music Festival provided another classic with tons of great music (including Tool, Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, Daft Punk, Madonna, Gnarls Barkley, Sigur Ros, Common, Franz Ferdinand, Kayne West + more), outstanding art fixtures and two sold out days at the best festival venue in the world.
Going on our third year working with the Coachella festival, Global Inheritance launched a new campaign called Portal Potties-Southern California along with providing a new twist to our existing TRASHed campaign.

Decked out with flat screen televisions and hi-fi speakers, Portal Potties took concert goers back in time to different eras over the past 100 years in Southern California covering every form of music imaginable, from rock and rap to jazz and blues. Turning back the history book pages, Southern California helped give birth to many of the greatest music movements of all time. Portal Potties - Southern California untimely plans to draw attention and action to get music programs back into public schools in Southern California. If you’re interested in supporting the Portal Potties campaign or booking the exhibit, please contact us at :: Portals@globalinheritance.org.
